Jay Resendez is an accomplished attorney devoted to providing comprehensive and personalized legal services to individuals, businesses, and governmental entities. Jay serves his clients by listening carefully to their goals and concerns, and then works closely with them to solve their legal issues in a cost-effective manner.

Prior to starting his own law firm in 2003, served as in house counsel for Bickmore Risk Services where he helped form the Employment Risk Management Authority and was associated with the Sacramento law firm of Hardy Erich Brown & Wilson.

Education & Credentials

Jay earned his Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from Santa Clara University in 1994. At Santa Clara, Jay was selected as a recipient of the State Bar of California's prestigious Wiley W. Manuel Award for Pro Bono Legal Services. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of San Francisco in 1991. Jay is a member of the Trusts and Estates and Labor and Employment sections of the State Bar of California, as well as the Placer County Bar Association. He is licensed to practice law in all state and federal courts within the State of California.

Memberships

Jay is a member of the California Association of Workplace Investigators. He is also an active member of the Rotary Club of Roseville. Jay is a former director of the Active 20-30 Club of Sacramento #1 and Sacramento Court Appointed Special Advocates.
