"I am not wealthy; I don't need an estate plan." These are but four of many reasons people use for not planning for their death or incapacity. In one sense, they are right; you don't need an estate plan, because the State already has a plan in place. State law and a judge can decide who gets your property, who is going to take care of your children and who is go to make medical decisions on your behalf when you are incapacitated. Is that what you really want? Will that give you "peace of mind?" The mission of my estate planning practice is to provide "peace of mind" to my clients and their families. After working with me, you will rest assured that you have had the opportunity to make the best possible legal decisions for yourself, your loved ones and your assets. For parents, you will have the "peace of mind" of knowing that if something were to happen to you, your children would be well provided for and taken care of by the people you choose. I am committed to providing personal service to each client using only those legal tools and techniques that suit the client's needs, goals and personal situation.
